Visual Poetry

The Ultimate Tragedy, a visual poetic piece, came about with my grief experience after my father died. I felt grave disappointment about our family dynamics, which lead to anxiety episodes. Suddenly, I couldn't write poetry as I usually did and I needed to find a way to reset. This and other pieces helped me find a way forward.

Original Source: How to Survive the Loss of a Child: Filling the Emptiness and Rebuilding Your Life by Catherine M. Sanders, Ph.D., Rocklin, CA: Prim Publishing, 1992, p. 3. I like to use discarded romance novels, self-help books and religious tracts among other materials to find a deeper message.
